Note Biografiche

Sara Villa nasce a Cuggiono (MI) nel 1975. Frequenta il Liceo Artistico di Busto Arsizio. Dopo una breve parentesi alla facoltà di Architettura, prosegue gli studi all’Accademia di Brera a Milano dove frequenta il Corso di Scenografia della Prof.ssa Tiziana Campi. Nel 1999 con un progetto grafico per la copertura di un restauro vince il Concorso “Vesti un monumento” indetto dal F.A.I.. Nel 2001 discute la tesi: “LA VOGLIA DI CAPIRE….Uno spazio da vivere: Il giardino. Idee, progetti e applicazioni per imparare dall’immaginifico dei sensi”. Un progetto sui molti significati del giardino e dedicato alla Villa Ordoño De Rosales in Buscate di cui si ipotizza il recupero e il riutilizzo del giardino quale luogo educativo e di svago per l’incontro e l’interazione sociale. Consegue il Diploma di Laurea con il massimo dei voti e lode. Lavora per un certo periodo nella grafica per la realizzazione di siti internet. Segue all’Istituto Europeo di Design a Milano, il Corso di Fotografia dello Spettacolo. E' assistente di Eugenio Carmi. Vive e lavora a Buscate nella provincia Milanese.

Biographic notes

Sara Villa was born in Cuggiono (Milan) in 1975. She attends the Art school in Busto Arsizio (Varese). After a brief period at the Politecnico (Faculty of Architecture), she decides to continue her studies at the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera in Milan where she attends the Prof. Tiziana Campi's Course of Stage Design. In 1999 with a graphic project for the covering of a building in restoration she wins the F.A.I. (Italian equivalent of the National Trust) competition “Vesti un monumento”(Dress up a monument). In 2001 she discusses her Diploma Thesis: “ “LA VOGLIA DI CAPIRE (WISHING TO UNDERSTAND)....A space to live: the garden. Ideas, projects and applications to learn from the imaginific of the senses” A project about the many meanings of a garden. It is dedicated to Villa Ordoño De Rosales in Buscate of which is given an hypothesis of restoration for the garden as a place of education and entertainment, of meetings and socialization. She graduates with the highest mark and lode. She works for a space of time as a website-designer. She attends the Course of Stage Photography at the I.E.D (European Institute of Design). She is the assistant of Eugenio Carmi. She lives and works in Buscate, in the milanese province.
